This and That
Country Cottage Needleworks is a design company that was actually started within another company, Little House Needleworks.  In what seems now to be a lifetime ago, I worked with my mom, Diane Williams on the designs she created in the cottage line of her company.  I was also one of her model stitchers.  However, mom's true passion is a darker sampler palette and mine, a lighter palette, so Country Cottage Needleworks broke away and began a new company headed by me, Nikki Leeman.  I design the way I decorate, using a lot of white frames, pastel threads and exciting bursts of color!  

My husband Derrick and I have been blessed with two wonderful children, Juliet age fourteen and Sean age twelve.  The two of them keep me very busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way!  They are my little inspirations as well, as almost all of my ideas for the Cottage Kids line are inspired by them.  One of the greatest perks to my job as a designer is the flexibility that I have in being able to spend time with them, and for that I am truly grateful.
